About Georgie Bull
Georgie Bull, aka Gilda Lockheart, is the artistic director of Brain Cocaine, published writer, freelance blogger and public speaker on mental health.
I studied at the University of Worcester where I found a love of performance and live art. I graduated with a first-class degree in Drama and Performance (Major) with Screenwriting (Minor) and was granted funding from the university to launch Brain Cocaine following graduation.
My performance script A Beautiful Dream, on the theme of homosexuality and arranged marriages in India, was published in the Write Now anthology (University of Worcester, August 2016). My writing credentials also include script-writer on the Secret Elephant Show (2014), a charity fundraiser for Onside which was highly praised in the media, and I have presented work at the Worcestershire LitFest and Fringe festival (2016 and 2017). I have also published some of my writing and performance scripts, available on Amazon, and currently work as a freelance copywriter. Prior to becoming freelance, I was a journalist and editor on The Voice newspaper.
For links to my books and a full list of publications and writing experience please see my writing page.
I am available to hire for script-writing, script-editing, performances and performance workshops, blog and article writing, and public speaking on mental health. For more information on services and prices, please see our services page.
